A top Russian chef is bringing his own interpretation of his national cuisine to a collaborative dinner with Alyn Williams as part of London Food Month.
Anton Kovalkov, the first Russian to work at Noma, the two Michelin-starred restaurant in Copenhagen, is teaming up with Williams for his Chefstock event at his eponymous restaurant at The Westbury, Mayfair.
Kovalkov, whose food is influenced by Asian cuisine, said: “The unusual is what I want to achieve. I want to get past some of the clichés of Russian food — that it is dumplings and vodka.”
