BENFIELD, the recently-floated reinsurance group, has sold about two-thirds of its holding in the Bermudian reinsurer Montpelier. Benfield sold nearly a million shares in Montpelier at $30.50 apiece, netting $27.7m (£16.7m). That compares with its original investment of $25m.
