A large hedgehog sculpture has appeared on Clapham Common in a stunt to promote a new nature television series.
The spiky model, which measures 12ft long, 8ft wide, and 7ft tall, attracted quite a bit of attention from passers-by in south London today.

It was built to promote the second series of David Attenborough's Natural Curiosities, which is due to air on UKTV's Watch channel tomorrow.

The legendary wildlife presenter, 87, said: "The hedgehog is one of Britain’s greatest natural curiosities and this sculpture is a fitting tribute to one of our best loved species.
"It is interesting to note that many of our supposedly common species are also hard to spot in the wild."
