A human body has been found in a bin at a west London waste depot, police said.
Scotland Yard said officers were called to the site in Brentford at around 12.40pm on Thursday.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "Officers have attended the scene and have confirmed that a body has been found.
"At this early stage the incident is being treated as an unexplained death and inquiries are ongoing."
No further details were immediately available.
