This was the moment flames erupted from drains in the road after a faulty electrical junction box sparked a major fire in Holborn today.
The fire could be seen above ground in Kingsway just after 4pm, apparently after a manhole cover became displaced.
Smoke filled the streets as fire crews cordoned off roads and warned people to avoid the area.
