Standard Sport assesses the individual performances from Liverpool's 0-0 draw with Everton at Goodison Park.
Brendan Rodgers' men missed the chance to close to within two points of the top four as an out-of-form Everton side held their Merseyside rivals.
Steven Gerrard was playing in what will likely be his final Merseyside derby - barring a meeting in the final stages of the Europa League - and the former England captain failed to make his mark on a fixture he has relished through the years.
But Gerrard was focused on the performance of youngster Jordon Ibe, who was hauled back early from a loan spell at Derby earlier this year to help with Liverpool's Champions League push.
"He only found out he was playing yesterday so to have 24 hours to prepare for a big match like this and be man of the match, it was a very sensational performance," the outgoing Reds skipper said.
