John Terry has been recalled to England's starting line-up as Sven-Goran Eriksson's side looked to revive their Euro 2004 qualifying hopes against Switzerland.
Fit-again Terry replaces Ledley King in central defence, while Paul Scholes has recovered in time from a twisted ankle.
That meant Eriksson fielded the same line-up which took on Japan in the penultimate warm-up game and he was also expected to revert to the controversial midfield diamond formation he used in that game.
