Two former City banking twins today said they are planning to open Colarado-based CBD manufacturer Mile High Labs’ first London office this summer.

Frederik and Christian Hendriksen said they are closing in on a deal for a Mayfair office which would be used for sales and marketing of cannabidiol (CBD), a compound found in cannabis that it is selling to UK and European consumer businesses.

Between the 29-year old brothers, they have worked at banks in London such as Morgan Stanley, UBS and Citi. They hail from a small town in north western Denmark originally.

The pair are currently working in a small serviced office in preparation for the official new London HQ launch in the next couple of months where they will scale to a team of 15.

Frederik Hendriksen said: “Mile High Labs is one of the world’s largest extractors of CBD that can be used in everything from skin care products to beverages. There is a rapidly growing demand for CBD in the UK and Europe.”

CBD is legal in Britain, as it does not cause a high itself, and can be sold in the UK without a license.
