Poundland profits as shoppers look for a bargain

Cheap products and shoppers looking for a bargain has helped Poundland post a 21.6% jump in turnover.

Poundland, which sells all its products for £1, has filed its annual results revealing turnover grew to £780 million - up 21.6% while underlying EBITDA stood at £40.1 million – up 26.5% and annual profits were up 24%.

Poundland has around 400 stores across the UK and more than 4 million weekly customers.
