Just an average remake

10 April 2012

This American version of the ghost story-cum-horror, which became the highest grossing film in Thailand, is no better for a change of scene.

It has Joshua Jackson and Rachael Taylor as a married couple who knock down a girl in their car and get haunted half to death in Tokyo, where the husband has a glamorous photographic assignment.

His wife hates the place and when strange blurs appear on his photographs the question is whether the ghost is warning the wife or trying to do her in. It’s OK, but no more.
