Predictable street dancing

Dance off: Step Up 2 the Streets
10 April 2012

If you like pyrotechnical street dancing, this follow-up to Step Up is for you. If you require a convincing storyline and a screenplay that doesn't seem to come straight out of a malfunctioning computer, it isn't.

Briana Evigan plays a girl from the mean Baltimore streets who makes it to an elite arts academy and then goes back on the sidewalks to show her prissy teacher how it's really done.

The film's clichés almost drown out the dancing - which is pretty damn good. The rest is pretty damn predictable.
