In this extraordinarily horrible if competently made film, a young woman has her face burned off with acid, a spinal cord is severed, fingers and tongues are amputated and various other nasty manifestations of torture porn are gleefully put before us.
The pawky moral is that college bullies might one day receive rather more than their just deserts, since revenge is the object of the bullied students’ most ardent desire.
They invite the bullies to a party and then trap and set about them. Director Joey Stewart is supposedly paying homage to No Country for Old Men — a fact which would almost certainly worry the Coen brothers.
