NW1 has long been the spiritual home of rock n’ roll in London and is proving its credentials this weekend, on June 3, with the Camden Rocks festival.
It’s set to be a busy old day, with 250 bands playing at 25 venues across the area. The big names on the bill are Feeder, The Coral, The Damned, The Rifles, Reverend and the Makers, The King Blues, Carl Barat and the Jackals and Turbowolf. For a full list, visit this page.

You’ll need to exchange your ticket for a wristband before visiting any of the gigs, which can be done as The World’s End pub on Camden High Street from 10.30am until 10pm on Saturday. Pre-paid tickets can also be picked up here.
Music starts at different times at different venues, but things generally kick off from midday. There’s information on this page, but be sure to check in with their Twitter in case of any last minute changes.

KOKO is also hosting the official afterparty, which has live music from the Sex Pissed Dolls and a DJ set from Jon Mahon. Tickets start at £5 and can be bought here.
Camden, in Zone 2, is easy to get to: head to either Camden Town, Chalk Farm, or Mornington Crescent tube stops. Avoid driving: a TFL bike is a much better call, as is a bus. Check tfl.gov.uk for more.
