Norman Jay MBE and DJ Yoda will play as part of a socially distanced version of Kaleidoscope festival at Alexandra Palace this August.

The new-look event — which has been dubbed Kaleidoscope presents… Unlocked — will feature a new raft of Covid-secure measures, including a 60 per cent reduction in audience capacity.

It will take place on August 30 within the grounds of the north London venue, which boast panoramic views of the capital’s skyline.

Simon Fell, director of event operations, said that while full details of the new protocols could not be revealed at this point, organisers are “confident we can deliver a great and safe experience for everyone.”

He added: “We are really looking forward to bringing some music and good times back for people to enjoy.

“We’re putting a lot of work into ensuring we can deliver our event in a safe way. Our approach is based on direction from the Government and health agencies.”

Mr Fell confirmed that “if at any point guidance from Government changes or it cannot be put on in a safe way, then it won’t go ahead and tickets will be refunded”.
