Kanye West has released his latest new track No More Parties in L.A., which fans have been patiently waiting for over the weekend.

The rapper has been releasing new material weekly since the start of 2016, reviving his GOOD Fridays project from 2010 which saw him upload a new song at the end of every week.

No new track appeared on Friday, leaving listeners worried that Kanye might already be backing out from his song-a-week pledge.

However, Kim Kardashian took to Twitter to reassure his fans, saying: “I soooo didn’t mean to lie to you guys about GOOD FRIDAYS coming back. Kanye flew to Italy for a Yezzy [sic] Season 3 fitting.”

“He flew Noah out with him so he could finish "No More Parties In La" & wrote 90 bars on the plane there!!!”

Most excitingly, the track sees a long-awaited collaboration between Kanye and Kendrick Lamar, with the critically-acclaimed Compton rapper featuring prominently in the song's opening verses.

The lyrics indicate that Kanye is ready to return to the music world after working on his fashion lines: “I know some fans thought I wouldn’t rap like this again / But the writer’s block is over, MCs cancel your plans”.

West’s highly anticipated new album SWISH is finally due to be released on February 11, after failing to appear last year despite the arrival of new songs Only One and All Day.
