Forget the cold winter chill outside — things are really heating up on the London gig circuit.

November looks set to be a superb month for music in the capital. There are rappers, singers and jazz collectives playing some of the biggest shows of their careers to date, while elsewhere, a handful of huge stars will deliver shows in relatively intimate venues.

Elsewhere, we’ve got art-pop pioneers, rising post-punk bands and Britpop legends to look forward to.

These are the gigs to know about in November.
