It must be love... the band say they are 'honoured and privileged' to be playing on the common
Their house: Madness will headline the bill

Much-loved ska band Madness are set to host a one-day festival in Clapham for the August bank holiday.

Suggs will lead his band out for ‘House of Common’ on August 29, on Clapham Common.

Alongside the Baggy-trousers hitmakers, music-lovers are promised 20 ‘hand-picked, like minded’ artists and DJs on the bill.

The band said: “We are honoured and privileged that London has found us a place where for one day every year we can have our very own festival, we hereby name that day House of Common. See you in Clapham Madheads… For the love of the common people.”
