Massive Attack join headliners at British Summertime in Hyde Park

Massive Attack: Joining a rather massive list of big names at British Summer Time

Massive Attack have been confirmed as headliners at this year’s British Summer Time Hyde Park festival, joining Florence And The Machine, Mumford and Sons and Take That.

The Bristol-born trip-hop group will play on July 1 when they will be joined by recent collaborators Young Fathers.

Patti Smith is lined up to support the show, along with Ghostpoet, TV On The Radio and Warpaint.

The British Summer Time series of gigs now features Massive Attack on Friday July 1, Florence And The Machine playing with Kendrick Lamar on July 2, Mumford and Sons on July 8 and Take That on July 9.

Supporters for Florence And The Machine and Kendrick Lamar will include Jamie xx and Blood Orange, while Mumford And Sons will be preceded by Mystery Jets, Wolf Alice and Alabama Shakes. More acts are yet to be announced.

Tickets for the Massive Attack gig will go on general sale on Friday (March 11) at 9am and are available here.
