Taylor Swift has revealed the highly anticipated video for her new single End Game, which was partially shot in London last October.

While the video also features glamorous scenes in Miami and Tokyo, the London sections of the clip celebrates the unseen and underappreciated areas of the city.

In Miami she’s seen chilling on a yacht and cruising around in a Lamborghini with rapper Future, and in the Tokyo scenes she’s shown downing shots in a karaoke bar with Ed Sheeran.

However, it’s the London scenes that really capture the imagination.

Thames-side apartment

We open with Taylor Swift opening the curtains of a Thames-side apartment window, overlooking the London Eye.

It’s a great view that showcases the city at its most spectacular. However, it appears to be the middle of the night, which prompts the questions, ‘Did she sleep through the day? Why is she only opening the curtains now? Is she jet-lagged?’ Whatever the explanation, it’s a gorgeous opening shot.

Back street

Before getting ready to party, Swift takes a walk around the city, pausing in an unnamed back alley to hang out with a few friends, as you do.

House party

Next thing we’re back in what appears to be the same apartment a few minutes later, only this time Ed Sheeran is there busting a few moves. We see fireworks in the background, there’s a man sat down wearing a top hat holding a balloon and there’s also a guy balancing a Rubix cube on his head. It might not sound like the craziest of parties but everyone’s having fun before getting ready to head out into the city.

The Bull & Gate pub

Next, we head to proper London boozer The Bull & Gate in Kentish Town. It's a lovely old Young's pub with an old-school feel, which is playing host to Swift and her friends for the evening. There’s a big crowd in and only two servers, so we hope the singer got a big round in, or they’ll have been waiting ages.

On the bus - Southbank & Piccadilly Circus

Swift and her squad are then seen on one of London’s iconic red buses. They’re cruising down the Southbank one moment, then parading around Piccadilly Circus the next. It’s admittedly a pretty random bus route but the girls are having a great time on their way to the next location.

Millennium Bridge

We see Swift separated from the group for a solo section of the video on Millenium Bridge: you know, the one the Dementors destroy in the Harry Potter films. We see St Paul's lit up in the background of the shot and it’s a fitting tribute to one of the most stunning parts of the city.

Kentish Delight kebab shop

Finally, the last London location we see is a north London takeaway Kentish Delight on Kentish Town Road, where the pop star ends the night.

Swift can be seen dishing out takeaway boxes among the crowd and the squad chow down on a few greasy wraps before getting a black cab home.

Apparently, Kentish Delight has experienced a huge boost in business since the video shoot, meaning Taylor Swift is London’s most influential fast-food expert since Chicken Connoisseur - some achievement.

Looking online, the kebab shop looks good value and boasts a four out of five hygiene rating. However, I’d say that’s pretty generous, given how they allow a random dog to just wander around when people are eating towards the end of the clip.

Either way, Taylor Swift has celebrated a side of the city rarely seen in glossy music videos like this and showcased the capital on the world stage.

Taylor, London salutes you.
