The last time I saw Brendon Burns onstage he was kissing Neil Hamilton on the lips - a hard image to shake from your mind.
Neil and Christine were in the front row of Burns's brutally powerful Edinburgh show, Sober Not Clean, which finally comes to London this week.
This is the third part of an autobiographical trilogy which tells the story of how the confrontational Australian comedian finally ended up in the Priory after years of emotional strife, drug abuse and relationship problems.
It is a sometimes gruelling show, not always easy listening and certainly not always funny, but Burns's riveting rock'n'roll personality will keep you watching throughout.
And who knows, maybe Brendon's unlikely fans the Hamiltons will return for an encore.
