Now six weeks in, the auditions for Britain’s Got Talent are almost at a close – but there are still exciting acts flooding in.

From the dancers who had drones whizzing about on the stage, to sweet old man singer David Forest, there were no Golden Buzzer acts this time around, but plenty of entertaining acts.

Here are the five best auditions from Episode 6.

Saulo Sarmiento

You’ve seen acrobatics on BGT before, but probably not this – 28 year-old Saulo Sarmiento from the Canary Islands performs his gymnastic skills on a pole suspended from the ceiling, whizzing across the stage and impressing the judges.

David Forest

It’s rare that you see a singer perform their own material on Britain’s Got Talent, let alone when they’re 84 years old. But David Forest came out to sing a delightful (and very, very long) ditty he wrote about the Number 19 bus. It wasn’t wowing, but it was very, very sweet. Simon’s on the naughty list for using his buzzer during the performance.

Déjà Vu

There’s an irony that this Glasgow-based dance troupe called themselves Déjà Vu, considering how many similar ones come through BGT each year – but with 47 members on the stage it was a brilliant spectacle seeing so many of them dancing in sync.

Flying Bebop

2016 was the year that BGT finally entered the Drone Age – and the act that did it was Flying Bebop. Dancers Nadia and Gavin were flanked by a troupe of flying gizmos in their futuristic routine.

Ana and Fia

Mother and daughter duo Ana and Fia gave a hugely emotional performance of Barbra Streisand’s Tell Him, displaying their huge voices and bond. Impressive stuff.
