The first pictures of the Celebrity Big Brother house have been revealed, and it looks as gaudy as you’d expect given the UK vs USA theme for the new series.

Befitting the two nations that the house will be pitching head-to-head, the latest Big Brother abode is mostly decorated with red, white and blue furnishings and features plenty of cultural nods to each country.

The dining area is decked out like a classic American diner, and the lounge area is fitted with extravagant British armchairs and a tea chest. There are silver bulldog statues too, of course.

The bedroom features Andy Warhol-esque pop art designs, and one wall in the bathroom has the London skyline – complete with Big Ben – on it.

In the centre of the swimming pool is a miniature Statue of Liberty, while the garden walls depict the New York skyline.

Take a proper look at the house here:

The house is set to host a mix of British and American celebrities from Thursaday August 27, though no housemates have been announced yet. Rumour suggests that Gemma Collins, ex-TOWIE star Dan Osborne, Stevi Ritchie, and maybe even Scott Disick could be headed for the show.
