The house mates have been in the house less than 24 hours and two have already shared a kiss – but it’s all part of Big Brother’s evil twist.

Christopher Biggins was told he had been appointed ‘boss’ of the house and was in control of nominations – but unbeknownst to him his housemates were in on the secret and would actually be saved from eviction if he ‘nominated’ them.

In a launch night task, Big Brother asked the Porridge star to identify his nomination by giving a housemate a kiss on the lips.

Khan was the chosen housemate after she set to work on convincing the stage and screen star that she was unhappy in the house.

The Loose Women panellist told him she would be unable to “last in the house” and is “missing her kids”.

As a result, Biggins kissed her on the lips.

Storage Hunters star Heavy D praised Khan’s game playing and described her as a “genius” while Lewis Bloor took note and told housemates that he will "play the game".

Biggins was the odds-on favourite to be crowned winner, before any of the contestants had entered the house.

He has odds of 7/2 to take the crown, followed by Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson who has odds of 4/1.

Sam Fox, Chloe Khan, Grant Bovey, Ricky Norwood, Katie Waissel, Renee Graziano, James Whale, Stephen Bear, Aubrey O'Day and Frankie Grande are also on the show.

Celebrity Big Brother is on Channel 5 tonight at 9pm.
