Big Brother gave housemates their first twist just moments after they’d entered the house.
The new batch of celebrity contestants were given a sly secret mission after the show kicked off on Thursday night.
Christopher Biggins, who is already favourite to win the show, became the subject of an undercover ‘secret boss’ task.
After the 15 new housemates had said their hellos, they were all invited to take part in a silent disco outside in the garden.
But while music blasted out through everyone else’s headphones, Biggins was told that the public had voted for him to be the boss, meaning that he would ‘call the shots’ while in the house.
Sneaky Big Brother then went on to tell the 67-year-old that he had control over all nominations and had immunity from eviction.
But unbeknownst to Biggins, he was being tricked, and all of his fellow housemates were actually in on the secret.
Instead of the people chosen by the screen and stage star facing eviction, the housemates he picks will instead be given immunity themselves.
Biggins was already odds-on favourite to be crowned winner, before any of the contestants had even entered the house.
The bookmakers have Biggins at 7/2 to take the crown, followed by Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson who seems to be his closest competition at 4/1.
Other famous faces to enter the house during Thursday night’s live launch included Sam Fox, Chloe Khan, Lewis Bloor and Grant Bovey.
