The latest series of Celebrity Big Brother has already proved an explosive one – with all kinds of arguments, shock removals, and twist-filled tasks.

But the drama can’t last forever, and the end date for the summer series has now been revealed.

The show will draw to a close on Friday, August 26 with a live episode which will see one of the remaining celebs come out on top.

That will leave the series at a length of 30 days – just two days shorter than the January 2016 series.

The final week of the series will involve various special broadcasts, including extended versions of Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.

One episode of Rylan’s spin-off will be broadcast from inside the house, the night before the final, followed by a live feed of the housemates.

Sunday, August 21 will also, bizarrely, feature a Christmas-themed instalment as part of Channel 5’s Christmas Comes Early day.

There series isn’t even halfway done yet, so expect plenty more drama in the coming weeks – especially with another eviction coming up on Friday, August 12. It’s still all to play for.
