Pop star Ella Eyre was involved in a car crash during filming for ITV’s new motoring show Drive.
The singer’s car flipped on the track while fellow celebrity contestants Professor Green, Louis Walsh, Johnny Vegas, and Mariella Frostrup watched on.
The incident has brought about concerns after safety experts’ advice was supposedly ignored just prior to the incident.
Speaking to The Mirror, a source said: “The weather was terrible and they ignored all advice. She could have been killed, and it prompted complete panic. Ella was very shaken afterwards.
“The other celebrities watching on at the track were shocked to see Ella’s accident, and it left them incredibly nervous.
“For a while they said they didn’t want to take part in the show anymore at all and wouldn’t come out of the green room.”
The show, hosted by Vernon Kay and racing driver Jason Plato, is due to air later this year, and pitches eight celebrities in “adrenaline charged” races.
