Tensions naturally run very high in the I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! camp, and the jungle has seen more than its fair share of bust-ups since the very first episode aired in 2002.

This year, however, the contestants have been peaceful in comparison to some of their predecessors.

There have been a few close calls - including Adele Roberts confronting Roman Kemp over her precious Jane McDonald picture - but nothing like some of the historic scenes with former contestants.

Take a look back at the biggest bust-ups in jungle history...

Kendra Wilkinson vs Edwina Currie (2014)

Should you "live your life for other people" or is it alright to be "selfish"? This is what caused an argument between Edwina Currie and Kendra Wilkinson in 2014.

Kendra was accused by Edwina of being “selfish” for not thinking of others because she is a woman. The fight ended with model Kendra crying and calling the former politician "heartless."

Edwina told her: “You're a mother. You're a mother. I'm sorry, sometimes you put other people first.”

It was left to the other celebrities to try to make the peace, with journalist Michael Buerk concluding: "I don't think Kendra is a selfish person actually but I'm not sure she's a moral philosopher either."

Lynne Franks vs Janice Dickinson (2007)

Sparks flew during the very first row of the 2007 series as US model Janice Dickinson and PR guru Lynne Franks butted heads.

The arguments erupted as Dickinson lost her first Bushtucker Trial despite insisting on facing the challenge for her team.

The women argued non-stop while cooking their first dinner, with Janice dubbing Lynne, who is said to be the inspiration for Edina in Absolutely Fabulous, a "freak" and a "shrew."

Gillian McKeith vs Shaun Ryder (2010)

McKeith and Ryder clashed when they were both thrown into the camp prison. While there, Ryder began to prepare a cigarette to smoke, much to the displeasure of the famous nutritionist who asked him to stop.

He blasted: "You f***ing what? I'll smoke where I want, you can go in the f***ing toilet. I smoke where I want, don't tell me where I can't smoke."

When asked not to swear, he responded: "I'll f***ing swear when I want to swear so f*** off."

Lady C vs Duncan Bannatyne (2015)

Lady C may have been the least popular I'm a Celebrity camp mate in the show's history.

One night she was disgusted when an Emu pooed near her bed and Duncan Bannatyne - who was on maintenance duty - didn’t clear it up, despite it being one of his camp duties.

“That’s diarrhoea poo, he needs to clean it up," Lady C thundered.

"Duncan dodges his duties at every point, he knows there is a poo and has clearly ignored it and is lying down and unless that poo is cleaned up I want to leave this camp.”

She also called him an "an impertinent old goat" and a “ pretentious piece of s*** “ during a bust up.

Katie Price Vs John Lydon (2004)

At a time when she was famously known as Jordan, the model infuriated John Lydon by using the little water they had to wash somebody's hair.

“Hairdressing seems to be more valid, which is alright for some. Dumb as dishwater,” he said to Price.

Continuing his rant, he moaned: “If that girls lifts a finger it is only to do her nails.”

Natalie Appleton vs Sophie Anderton (2014)

Former All Saints singer Natalie Appleton famously clashed with model Sophie Anderton.

The pair were constantly arguing after the singer accused her camp mate of being self-obsessed and even accused her of having "no emotion" or feelings.

She later added: "I've never known someone who looks so fragile but is such a b****."

Alfonso Ribeiro vs Matthew Wright (2013)

Alfonso Ribeiro hit out at Matthew Wright after the TV host tried to correct his grammar.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air actor erupted, shouting: "Matthew enough! Enough! OK enough! I've had enough of your f****** s***.

"I'm done with you talking about it ... I've had enough of his ass, I'm done with him saying every time I say something, 'no you are wrong, I'm right you are wrong'. Well no you are f****** not!"
