Gone for good? Kit Harington reveals he is in Game of Thrones Season 6 - but as a corpse

With less than two months to go until the arrival of Game of Thrones Season 6, there’s still one huge question that’s hanging over the show’s return.

The last episode of the show ended with Jon Snow, Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch, betrayed by his men and stabbed repeatedly, apparently to death.

Or was he? The final show saw the character bleeding out in the icy wastes of the North, but gave no confirmation over whether he would somehow survive.

With the most recent book in George RR Martin’s epic fantasy series also leaving off at a similar point, nobody knows if Jon Snow will make it.

After repeated denials, Kit Harington has now admitted that he has indeed filmed some scenes for Season 6 – except, he’s been dead in them.

Speaking to Time Out, the actor said: “I filmed some scenes of me being dead – [jokily] it’s some of my best work.”

He claimed that he doesn’t “have a clue” what happens in the series.

“I know how long I’m a corpse for, but I can’t tell you that!” he said.

1/20

Does that mean there’ll be a time when Jon Snow is no longer a corpse? Will he be dead for several episodes or will he somehow come back in the first one? Or are we reading too much into this and Snow really is gone for good?

It’ll be a long two month wait to find out.
