Liam Gallagher and Idris Elba have revealed they have made up four years after they fell out over a hat.

The stars, who are both guests on this week’s episode of The Graham Norton Show, admitted during the recording that they have ‘squared [their disagreement] away’.

Luther actor Elba told Norton “Me and Liam have squared it away. We had a falling out. He threw my hat across the bar.”

While former Oasis band member Gallagher chipped in: “We only fell out for 10 minutes.”

But it looked like the pair might just reignite their feud as they began to bicker over the cause of the falling out.

Elba repeated: “He threw my hat across the bar,” while Gallagher interjected: “You started it mate, by feeling my hair.”

But Elba managed to keep things light, explaining: “I have him a hug and he didn’t like that ‘cause he loves his hair. He took my hat off and threw it across the bar, so we had a bit of a thing. We’re all good now.”

Gallagher added: “Yep, we’re all good now.”

Later in the show, the 45-year-old rocker opened up about the most famous of his high profile-feuds – his long-standing antagonism with brother Noel.

He chatted about why the pair had originally fallen out, saying: “The grudge started when he was about 19 and he bought a stereo. I’d had my first drink that night and got up to pee. I couldn’t find the light so I relieved myself over his new sound system. He was livid and that’s where it started.”

Gallagher shut down suggestions that there was any hope of him and his sibling reforming their band Oasis.

“We don’t like each other. Lots of people have asked us to get back together and they keep adding noughts. They’ve offered us millions and millions but its not about the money,” he stated.

Also on the show’s red sofa this week are actress Kate Winslet and comedian Chris Rock.

The Graham Norton Show airs Friday, October 6 at 10.35pm on BBC One.
