Samira Mighty is tipped to become the first contestant to leave Love Island when the first recoupling takes place at the end of the week.

The islanders will face their first big test as they couple up again after just a few days together, sending one unlucky singleton packing.

Despite being coupled up with Alex George, West End performer Samira is currently favourite to be dumped since it has become clear there isn’t a spark between her and the doctor.

Bookmakers Betfair have her at 5/6 to be eliminated, especially following the revelation that Alex will be going on a date with Rosie Williams in scenes to be shown during Thursday night’s episode .

Hayley Hughes is currently 3/1 to go and new arrival Georgia Steel is 5/1. Dani Dyer and Kendall Rae-Knight seem the safest, according to the bookies, with odds of 20/1.

When series four of the popular show launched on Monday, Samira and Alex were coupled up after Samira was the only girl left at the end of the coupling ceremony.

Since then, Samira admitted to Laura Anderson that she doesn’t want to flirt with Alex and later told the Beach Hut cameras that she feels “awkward” around him.

Equally frustrated with the situation was Alex, who told new friend Jack Fincham that he was feeling “frustrated” as his attempts to get to know Samira were being rebuked.

And Samira seemed arguably concerned that she could be in danger of getting the boot when she panicked on the balcony over Georgia’s performing arts background.

Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis said: “The introduction of new girls Rosie and Georgia has really shaken things up on the island and the original girls have been left feeling very threatened, no more so than Kendall who is now worried Adam will have his head turned.

"And she’s right to be worried with Adam admitting he finds Rosie very attractive. For that reason we have it as evens that Adam and Rosie will be coupled up by the end of this week.

"While Alex was actually sent on a date with Rosie, we make him the 4/7 favourite to be the first of the males to leave, with Samira the 5/6 favourite of the girls to be gone first. Kendall is now joint favourite with Dani at 2/1 to be the winning girl, while Jack remains the 5/2 favourite to be winning male"

Love Island continues Thursday at 9pm on ITV2.
