The first series of dating show Naked Attraction, which sees singletons size up potential matches who are completely starkers, sparked almost 100 complaints for “exploitative nudity”. But will series two be as controversial? Here’s everything you need to know:
What’s it about?
Arguably the most shameless dating show on TV, Naked Attraction cuts right to the chase allowing singles to check out their potential suitors in the nude before they meet.
A clothed contestant selects two matches from a selection of six naked people, whose bodies and faces are revealed in stages feet first from behind a semi-transparent screen.
The dater then strips off themselves before picking one partner to join them for a fully-clothed date.
Who presents it?
Anna Richardson is returning to front the show and we assume, struggle to keep her eyes on the camera.
Incidentally the host is married to another recognisable TV face – former Great British Bake Off presenter Sue Perkins.

Why is it controversial?
The first series of the show attracted 98 complaints to TV regulating body Ofcom, for “exploitative nudity”. It also caused a storm on social media, with users labelling it “the definition of trash TV” and “the depths of vacuous entertainment”. Gulp.
When’s it on?
The new series kicks off on Channel 4 at an age appropriate time of 10pm on June 29.
