Dad’s Army is one of the top sitcoms that Brits are tuning to in to lockdown, according to viewing figures from Now TV.
The streaming service has revealed the shows that have seen the highest surges in viewership since UK residents were urged to stay at home, with figures revealing we are favouring old classics.
Dad’s Army topped their list with a streaming increase of 211 per cent, while Only Fools and Horses, which ran from 1981 to 2003, has seen an increase of 87 per cent .
David Mitchell and Robert Webb’s Peep Show came in third, with an increase of 38 per cent.
Viewers seeking a US comedy classic have turned to one of the most beloved animated sitcoms of all-time - The Simpsons, which has had an increase of 23 per cent.
It's not all about the laughs though as some viewers have used their time at home to tune in to the HBO classic The Sopranos, has seen an increase of 21 per cent.

When it comes to cinematic choices, things are decidedly more dystopian with streams of I Am Legend, which stars Will Smith as the seemingly sole survivor of a zombie apocalypse in New York, jumped 98 per cent.
Edgar Wright’s classic comedy-horror hit Shaun of the Dead saw an increase of 108%.
The popularity of dystopian fiction during coronavirus has been noted elsewhere, with Steven Soderbergh’s Contagion becoming one of the most in-demand films to stream as coronavirus spread.
Meanwhile, Station Eleven, a novel about the survivors of a deadly virus, has seen an increase in sales since the coronavirus pandemic took hold.
