With One Direction set to go on a well-deserved break after the release of their forthcoming album Made In The A.M., it appears Louis Tomlinson will be keeping himself busy.

Speaking to Xtra Factor presenters Melvin Odoom and Rochelle Humes, Tomlinson revealed that he is working on projects with Simon Cowell.

“I’ve got a little label imprint, so I’m trying to work with that at the moment,” the singer said.

“I’m lucky enough to be working with Simon, we’ve got a few different projects going on at the moment, one of which is we’re trying to put a girl band together. It’s really exciting to be involved in the different side of it, the background of it.”

Tomlinson is joining Simon Cowell at the Judges’ Houses round of X Factor this weekend, helping the boss to whittle down his remaining six candidates from the Overs category.

The remaining three candidates will continue in to the live rounds of the show.
