Sheridan Smith has been praised for her performance in ITV's Isolation Stories.
The channel's new ambitious four-part series was put together from the actors' homes due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
They received direction on how to put up lights and set up the cameras over Zoom.
In her episode, Smith, 38, plays Melanie, who is three weeks away from giving birth but spending lockdown alone because the father of her unborn child is with his own wife and children.
Smith’s character struggles to cope with loneliness and isolation, and the show has also been praised for tackling issues such as domestic violence and family problems.

In a pivotal moment in the show, Melanie accepts her situation, having previously admitting she didn’t want to go ahead with the pregnancy.
She sings to her unborn child while cradling her baby bump, in a sunny scene on her balcony.
Fans have praised Smith - who is herself expecting a baby - for her “emotional” performance in the show.

Smith’s fiancé Jamie Horn helped film her scenes in their home, while Smith acted as her own make-up artist and costume designer.
The actress met the insurance broker in July last year. She is now pregnant with her first child after confirming the news in October 2019.
