Ruth Langsford is the bookies’ favourite to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing this week.

The This Morning and Loose Women host has odds of 6/4 to be eliminated from the BBC ballroom competition, after her quickstep to the Bewitched theme song saw her at the lower end of the leaderboard.

Davood Ghadami is just behind with odds of 15/8, ahead of Susan Calman, whose popularity with the judges and the public sees her at a safer 9/2.

Betfair spokesperson Katie Baylis said: “Ruth Langsford is probably the weakest dancer of the celebs still left in the competition and she could really struggle with her Paso Doble this weekend, which is why it’s no surprise she’s the 6/4 favourite to leave the show.

“Davood Ghadami struggled last week and is just behind at 15/8, while Susan Calman is at 9/2, however the judges and the public appear to love her cheeky routines and we think she will probably last at least another week.”

Langsford will be hoping that her Paso Doble performance in this week’s show will be enough to save her from the dance-off. Earlier this week the 57-year-old admitted she doesn't feel her dancing skills are improving.

Speaking on Loose Women she said: “I love it, but people keep saying, ‘You’re really improving,’ but I don’t feel like I am.”

At the other end of the spectrum are Alexandra Burke and Aston Merrygold who are vying for pole position as favourites to win the competition.

Burke just edges it at 9/4 to Merrygold’s 5/2 thanks to her near-perfect scoring dances, including her jive to Tina Turner’s Proud Mary,

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday, November 4 at 6.50pm on BBC One.
