The first trailer for the brand new series of Top Gear is here – and it looks as daft and entertaining as ever.

The 2016 series sees a huge change for the BBC’s flagship motoring show, with a brand new line-up of presenters, led by Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc.

The duo are joined in the trailer by The Stig (of course) and Sabine Schmitz, who was announced as one of several co-hosts on the new series.

While the faces are different, it looks like the series will bring what many fans will want – supercars, stunts, and antics on the race course, with a clip of Evans apparently throwing up after being whizzed around the track by Schmitz.

The new run will see the first episodes of the show since presenting trio Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May departed from the series, following an incident in which Clarkson assaulted producer Oisin Tymon.

As the trailer says, get ready: the wait is almost over.
