The Undateables viewers were left in tears after Daniel Wakeford proposed to his girlfriend Lily Taylor during the Christmas special.
The 30-year-old musician, who has autism, serenaded his girlfriend with Mariah Carey’s festive hit All I Want For Christmas Is You before dropping to one knee with the all-important question.
The proposal, which comes a year after the pair met on the Channel 4 show, left Lily screaming with joy as she yelled “yes” before hugging her fiancé.
And fans were quick to hail the moment “the best of the year” as they congratulated the happy couple.
One wrote: “#TheUndateables wow Daniels proposal to Lily. Brought a tear. Was beautiful.”

Many pleaded with the channel to air their wedding and said that they would love to involved in their special day.

The Undateables viewers fell in love with the couple last year after they were sent on a date by the agency featured in the popular programme.
Daniel and Lily immediately hit it off and soon made their relationship official.
