A self-assessment tax party is coming to London

Tax woes: the unusual 'party' comes to London later this month

Though none of us need reminding that the tax man is about to knock on our doors, on Tuesday January 23 the Book Club in Shoreditch will be hosting a rather unusual event– a Self Assessment Tax partay. We're deadly serious.

For those of you are weeping tears into your never ending roll of receipts, go and join east London's semi-miserable hipsters for free (yes, FREE) tea and coffee and motivational support.

In addition to the endless leaves and java, the good folk who run the place will be handing our good tips for those who haven't got a clue what they're doing. Perhaps they can give Parliament and Theresa May a few good pointers, too.

If you're interested, register yourself (and your HMRC form) here.

The Self Assessment Tax party is at The Book Club, EC2A 4RH. For more info, visit the venue's website.
