A-ha! Knowing us, Evening Standard, knowing you, Alan Partridge fans, here's some textbook good news: an Alan Partridge disco is dancing into London.

An entire night dedicated to the Mid Morning Matters host is taking place at the Brixton Ritzy on Friday, February 9.

What's on the agenda? A full on show courtesy of Massive Arms (the lovely peeps behind the night) featuring Toblerones, plenty of 'lady boys' and of course endless opportunities to dance to Go West and OMD.

In addition, turn up early to sign yourself up for an hour of Alan-oke and prepare for a trip through the musical talents of REO Speedwagon. Don't ask.

Oh, and expect several other tunes from the likes of Abba, The Police, Queen, Hot Chocolate and UB40. There'll also, we're hoping, be plenty of hits from Wings, the band the Beatles could have been.

The Alan Partridge Disco will be at Upstairs at the Ritzy, 469 Brixton Rd, Brixton, London SW2 1JQ. Advance tickets cost £5 and can be booked via the Ritzy's Facebook page.
