Gelato Festival serving over 100 flavours of ice cream set for Spitalfields
Something cool is coming to Spitafields.
As part of a European tour that will see it take in 10 cities in six months, Gelato Festival will be settling down in Old Spitalfields Market from June 24 to July 3. It will bring with it more than 100 different flavours of ice cream.
Whether you're in the market for savoury, sweet, boozy or bold flavours, there will be a scoop to suit your cone.
There will also be a workshop where keen gelato lovers can learn about how to make the sweet treat for themselves, as well a gelato 'laboratory' to further explore what it is and how it comes to be.
On top of this you can vote for your favourite flavours to help them scoop an award.
The festival is free to attend, but comes with the option of buying a 'gelato card' for £17, which grants holders a taster of every single flavour.
