The Independent Label Market is often found in Spitafields Market, and is normally rammed with vinyl lovers trying to get their hands on rare pressings and limited edition merchandise.

On Saturday June 4, to celebrate its fifth birthday, the Independent Label Market is joining forces with Oxford Street’s UNIQLO to host a rooftop market.

There will be 12 independent labels joining in the birthday fun, with appearances from independent labels like Hyperdub, Bella Union and Sunday Best.

Dalston’s NTS Radio will be live broadcasting the afternoon from the heights, while various DJs accompany the shoppers with some good vibe music.

UNIQLO’s website states that the Independent Label Market aims to provide an authentic trading experience through the simple market stall.
