Theresa May is finally vacating her post after announced a tearful farewell outside Downing Street last month, but she shouldn’t be upset – after all, she’s got an incredible leaving party to look forward to.

The PM is bringing her premiership to a close on Friday, and the London Dungeon is hosting a special event to mark the end of her time in office.

So far, the only party May has been able to enjoy during her three years in charge is the Tory party conference – but that’s all about to change.

The dungeon's evening events are always worth keeping an eye out for, and this one's shaping up to be a bigger thrill than the time the PM ran through fields of wheat as a child.

There’ll be a strong and stable line-up of performers on the night to enjoy, including drag acts Lydia L’Scabies and Cynthia Seaward.

DJs will welcome guests to boogie like May with a themed playlist, including classic tracks such as Dancing Queen and, of course, Fields of Gold.

Tickets are available to buy now, costing £10 and entitling guests to a free drink – that certainly sounds like a deal everyone can agree on.
