Open Goal: West Ham stadium offers interactive tour of ex-olympics site

Sports fans can now get closer tothe glory of London 2012 with an interactive tour of the former Olympic Stadium and new home of West Ham.

Restricted areas of the Stratford venue will be open to the public for the first time from tomorrow. The tours last 90 minutes, with areas brought to life via a headset with audio and video.

Fans can explore the practice track and changing rooms and go through the players’ tunnel and out to the manager’s dug-out. Linda Lennon, the stadium’s chief executive, said: “The tours offer a unique opportunity to get behind the scenes and put yourself in the shoes of the great athletes who have graced this iconic venue.”

Tours take place on non-match days. Tickets start from £17 per adult, £10 per child and £48 for a family of four.
