Things to do in London today

Wednesday January 31

Drink Scandi-style in Soho from night, as The Den in 100 Wardour St welcome Stockholm’s Linje Tio for a residency. The bar, which is ranked as one of the world’s 50 best, will be serving up its Nordic menu for a taste of boozing like the Swedes do.

Get a taste for Goat at Corazon on Poland Street, where Cabrito’s James Whetlor is swinging by to cook up the under-appreciated meat. Go for a three course Mexican meal and plenty of margaritas.

New play A Girl In School Uniform (Walks Into A Bar) has opened at the New Diorama Theatre. As the unnerving title suggests, this one is a dystopian thriller exploring gender and power, set in a surreal but recognisable future, uncertainty is everywhere and violence against women is rife.
