The world’s largest transportable rollercoaster is set to arrive in London for the first time in little over a week.

The big dipper, known in England as Munich Looping, will make its UK debut as the star of Hyde Park’s 10th annual Winter Wonderland, which runs from next Friday, November 18, until January 2.

The coaster is a popular attraction across Germany, appearing at many carnivals throughout the year, including Munich’s world famous Oktoberfest, where it made its first appearance in 1989.

The coaster has five loop-the-loops as part of its 4,101 feet track. These hoops generate G-forces of up to 5.2G, which is equivalent to the amount an F1 driver experiences during a Grand Prix. It is still about half that of what a race plane pilot endures.

Other attractions at this year’s Winter Wonderland include ice skating, Zippos Circus, Cirque Berserk and The Magical Ice Kingdom.
