A new app is tracking all of the capital’s pub gardens set to reopen on April 12.

The date – cruelly a Monday – marks the day the country will be able to eat and drink al fresco at pubs and restaurants nationwide, under the Prime Minister’s proposed roadmap out of lockdown. Takeaway pints will also be allowed from then.

Now Thomas Whale has launched Bevvi, an app which let’s users plan their post-Covid nights out, share their location with friends, and find places to go. As part of that, Whale has launched a virtual map of more than 100 pub gardens across the capital.

Whale says the app will soon allow users to find places to go according to their location, and hopes to eventually map beer gardens across the UK too.

The map of pub gardens can be see below.

“We are looking to create a one-stop-shop for your night out in a post-Covid world. If you are having a beer in the pub, you tap the Bevvi button to let your mates know and anyone nearby can join you – we all know the spontaneous nights are the best!” Whale told the Standard.

“If planning is more your thing, you can create an event and invite anyone you want to join, whether they have Bevvi or not.”
