The Foresters is another decent pub in Forest Hill

Two names: The Foresters/All Inn One
10 April 2012

All Inn One/The Foresters still retains both names, even after changing to the All Inn One restaurant and bar years back - the bar area is still known as 'the Foresters bar', as the restaurant is separated completely.

The staff are pleasant enough and quick to respond to orders. There's Cask Marque quality real ale on the four taps, including some more interesting ones; Reverend James (brewed by Brains) was on when we were last in, as well as Brains SA and Deuchars.

It's a big place, with a large screen TV in the back, regular live music nights (blues and jazz) and quiz and poker night on Sunday. For al fresco drinking there's a bijou patio area and the book-filled shelves are a nice touch too. But there' should be enough here to keep you from flicking through the paperbacks on offer.

It's literally on the wrong side of the tracks - there's an underpass near the station if you can't work out how to get there - but notch this one up as another decent Forest Hill watering hole.
