Al Desko: Savoury Tartes Fines

Mollie Goodfellow21 November 2013

What: Apostrophe Café’s Savoury Tartes Fines (£3.45)

Where: Various locations (apostropheuk.com)

Taste Assessment: Essentially a puff-pastry mini pizza, generously topped with cheese and vegetables or cured meats, it would be all too easy to inhale three of these without even noticing. Apostrophe is pretty evil for adding these to its menu, but thanks to good ingredients they are savoury treats worth getting fat for. Served warm, you’ll have a hard time choosing between crumbly goat’s cheese and olive, oven-roasted vegetables or spicy, flavourful chorizo.
