Try the simple recipe below for some weekday indulgence...

Ingredients

1 boxed Camembert

1 garlic clove, sliced thinly

3 sprigs thyme

1 tablespoon white wine

Squeeze of runny honey

Small handful walnuts

Small handful dried cranberries

Salt & pepper

Toasted crusty bread

Method

Preheat your oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6

Remove Camembert from its box, unwrap and discard the waxed paper, return the cheese to the box.

Score the top of the cheese with a sharp knife, poke the garlic and 2 sprigs of the thyme into the cuts then pour on the wine and drizzle with honey.

Cover loosely with tin foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

While the cheese is cooking, finely chop the walnuts, cranberries and remaining thyme leaves and put into a little dish with a pinch of salt, add this to a serving plate/board with the toasted crusty bread.

Remove the cheese from the oven and transfer to the serving plate/board.

Dunk a breadstick into the melted cheese then dip into the cranberry and nut mixture. Enjoy!
