Celebrate summery nights with this delicious avocado salad

Avocados are well and truly here to stay.

While they may be the 'reason' Millennial's cannot afford to buy houses, you can't deny the creamy fruit is delicious - and the perfect summer staple.

Below is a great avocado salad you can whip up in just five minutes to take to a barbecue or on a picnic with friends or even as the base of a heartier meal.

Sesame-Chilli Avocado Salad

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 250g avocado, sliced
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 3 tsp. soy sauce 
  • 2 tsp. maple syrup
  • ½ tsp. sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp chilli flakes

Method

1. Whisk all ingredients except for the avocado in a bowl.

2. Toss the avocado slices with the dressing and serve.
